About this tool
The difference between attaching a JPG and attaching a PDF is mostly about expectations: institutions, portals, and printers treat a PDF as a document with a defined page size, while an image is pixels of unknown dimensions. This converter puts your image onto a real page; Letter, A4 or a page sized to the image itself; with proper margins, so it prints and displays the way a document should.
It handles the details that make image-PDFs look wrong otherwise: fit-inside-page versus fill-page placement, portrait or landscape orientation (or automatic), and a background color for images with transparency, which would otherwise render unpredictably.
How to use it

Should I pick image-size, Letter or A4?
Letter or A4 for anything document-like; it prints normally and looks like a scan. Image-size makes the page exactly match the picture, which suits artwork and screenshots.
How do I turn several photos into one PDF?

Why does my PDF have white bars around the image?
That's the fit-inside-page mode preserving the whole image when its shape doesn't match the page. Switch to fill-page to cover the page (cropping edges), or use image-size pages.
Will text in the PDF be selectable?
No; the PDF contains your image as a picture, like any scan. It's for sharing and printing, not text extraction.
Is my document photo uploaded to make the PDF?
No. The PDF is assembled inside your browser. IDs, leases, and forms are not sent to Easy Edits.
