About this tool
Cropping removes clutter, recenters the subject, and fixes the shape mismatch between what a camera produces and what a website expects. Use the draggable box for free-form composition, choose an aspect-ratio preset or enter exact width and height values when a form requires specific dimensions.
Cropping removes only the area outside your selection. The result is rendered when you download it, and the chosen format controls whether it is saved losslessly as PNG or compressed as JPG or WebP. The tool accepts common image formats, including HEIC when the browser-side converter can decode it.
How to use it
- Upload an image; drag and drop, click to browse, or paste from the clipboard.
- Drag the corners of the crop box or click a ratio preset (1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 3:2) to lock the shape.
- For an exact output size, choose Custom dimensions and type the width and height in pixels.
