About this tool
Labels on a screenshot, a caption on a photo, a name on an event image, a price on a product shot; putting words on pictures is one of the most common edits there is. This tool works with draggable text boxes: add as many as you need, style each one independently, and position them by dragging directly on the image rather than typing coordinates.
Each text box has its own font, size, and color (via a full color wheel); a heading and a caption can coexist without compromise. There's no watermark on the output; the only text on your image is the text you put there.
How to use it
- Upload an image.
- Click to add a text box and type your text.
- Set the font, size, and color for that box; each box is styled independently.
- Drag each text box exactly where it belongs on the image.
- Add more boxes as needed, then download as PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG.
Tips
- Readability comes from contrast: light text on the dark part of a photo, dark text on the light part. If neither exists where the text must go, pick a color from the opposite end of what's behind it.
- If the image is headed for social media, keep text away from the top and bottom edges; platform interfaces cover those zones on full-screen formats.
- Making an image with lots of text? Consider building it larger than needed and downsizing at the end; text stays crisper than when scaled up.

Can I use different fonts and colors in one image?
Yes. Every text box carries its own font, size, and color; you can mix a bold heading with a smaller caption.
How do I position text precisely?
Drag the box directly on the preview. Boxes move freely, so aligning to an object in the photo is a matter of eye rather than coordinates.
Can I edit or delete a text box after adding it?
Yes. Select any box from the list to change its text and styling or remove it entirely.
Does the tool add a watermark?
No. The downloaded image contains only your image and your text.
Is my image uploaded while I add text?
No; text is composited onto the image inside your browser.
